Location
Snappy's is centrally located in Montana's beautiful Flathead Valley, at the foot of the Continental Divide, and only 30 miles from Glacier Park.  From all of us at Snappy's, we welcome you to the last best place in the world.  Montana has some of the best to offer in the way of fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, boating - or whatever recreational activities you may wish to pursue.  Since our inception in 1947, Snappy's has been caring for people and assisting them in choosing the right equipment for their chosen sports afield endeavors.

Philosophy
What We're All About. Each and every day we strive to maintain and improve a world-class operation. We offer top quality merchandise, very well suited to the needs of the customer; excellent value; and a shopping experience that is quite difficult to match. Since 1947, tens of thousands of folks have benefited from our Montana landmark store. We trust you will as well, and thanks for visiting our site.

History
The store was founded in 1947 by U. S. Army Air Corps and World War II veteran, Captain Verne Lupton and his partner Bob Englebach. In 1954 all ownership succeeded to Verne, and then in 1978 to Verne's son B.J. Lupton, who is also a retired Captain in the United States Naval Reserve. A third Montana generation is now involved in the store with B.J.'s son Jon. Snappy's General Manager, Dave Toelke, is a graduate of Montana State University and also very successful as a guide/outfitter in his younger years.

Our Role in the Community - Taking Care of People
Not only is taking care of our customers and friends critically important, we also very strongly believe we have an even larger obligation - actually a privilege - that of participating in and supporting worthy non-profit and community service organizations, as well as responding to human need, and especially disadvantaged folks or those suffering from very difficult situations.  We do this as best we are able and as best as we can afford.  The following is a list of those organizations to whom we provide significant support:Community Service and Human Need
